Heather & Shelby visit

Dad and Mom Schambach came to Ohio to visit and dropped off Heather (Jason & Karen's) and Shelby (Tom & Jolene's) at our place while the went up north for a day - then rejoined us the next day. We really enjoyed spending time with the girls. We did some hiking at a local metro park and when Dad & Mom returned we went to the zoo for the day.

Someone spotted that the neighbor down the street was "throwing away" this sturdy slide. So, Shelby and Heather were MORE THAN WILLING to drag it down the street and bring it home for Alayna.


The ZOO: So much to see - Briana just missed out on alot.

I thought this was a Chimpanzee - But I think I'm wrong. They sure are loud and their throats swell up when they "screech"

This mama Alligator was sitting on about 27 eggs. If you look right below her front leg, you can see a little white which is one of them. The zoo worker stated that not all of them will hatch - plus they won't let all of them hatch. What to do with 27 Alligators???

After a full day at the zoo - we were pretty tired.

A few stops

On our way home from vacation we stopped at my parents for a few days and were glad to spend alittle more time with family.

We were glad Sam and Sherri & their boys came down to dad and mom's for the day on Sunday. We don't see them that often, so it was nice to spend some time with them.

Skyler just loved holding and spending time with Briana. He couldn't give her enough kisses.


We stopped in Indy to see Peter and Penny Schroder on our way home. We had a great "late lunch"/ "early dinner" with them.

Everyone wanted a turn at the same time. Recently, it seems everywhere we go, Alayna loves sitting and playing with these cars.
